1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Plinth Technology & Consult (“we”, “us”) covering your use of the Pulse app and website. When you create an account or sign in, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use Pulse.
2. Who can use Pulse
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country if that is higher, to use Pulse. You can't use Pulse if we have previously banned you, or if the law prohibits you from doing so.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your device and sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us straight away at plinthtechnologiesconsult@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- One person, one account. Don't sell, transfer or share your account.
4. Your content
You own the messages, photos and other content you send on Pulse. To run the service, you give us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and deliver that content to the people you send it to. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except where we must keep it for safety or legal reasons as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for what you send, and you must have the right to share it.
5. Acceptable use
Pulse has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to use Pulse to:
- Harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone.
- Share hate speech, graphic violence, or content that promotes self-harm.
- Share sexual content involving anyone under 18, or intimate images of anyone without their consent.
- Send spam, scams or misleading links, or impersonate another person.
- Break the law, or help anyone else to.
- Interfere with Pulse: no hacking, scraping, reverse engineering or overloading our systems.
The full rules are in our Community Guidelines.
6. Reports and enforcement
You can report messages and users from inside the app, and you can block anyone at any time. We aim to review reports within 24 hours. If content or behaviour breaks these terms, we may remove the content, issue a warning, or suspend or permanently ban the account responsible. Where the law requires, or someone's safety is at risk, we may report it to the authorities.
If you believe we made a mistake, you can appeal by emailing plinthtechnologiesconsult@gmail.com.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. You can delete your account at any time.
8. Apple, Google and the app stores
If you downloaded Pulse from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Pulse or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Your use of Pulse must also follow the App Store's Terms of Service. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
If you downloaded Pulse from Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Google. Google is not responsible for Pulse or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Your use of Pulse must also follow the Google Play Terms of Service.
9. Changes and ending service
We may update Pulse and these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes to the terms, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Pulse after that, you accept the new terms.
You can stop using Pulse and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or if we stop offering Pulse; where we can, we'll give you notice.
10. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Pulse running well, but we provide it “as is” and can't promise it will always be available, error-free or that messages will always be delivered. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these terms.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content other users send. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Ghana, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
